I’ve found that confidence is acquired through a combination of metrics. First, confidence is usually commensurate to age. We gain confidence with experience and so the invaluable wisdom that comes with growing older and more experienced contributes to one’s confidence Second, confidence is something attained through relationships we have with others. When we feel gratitude for our loved ones and when we feel supported, we feel empowered and therefore confident. And finally, confidence comes through looking and feeling your best.
Today, I’ve teamed up with ShopStyle and Dress for Success for a special campaign. Dress for Success, an international non-profit organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing them support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Today and tomorrow, I will be donating 10% of sales from my blog to Dress for Success and ShopStyle will match my contribution dollar to dollar. There couldn’t be a better time to shop, especially when shopping gives back!
